Avocado

The Peruvian avocado is currently recognized throughout the world for its flavor, quality and nutritional properties. In Peru, this fruit is produced thanks to the excellent climatic and geographical condictions. There are avocado varieties such as: Fuerte, Hass, Zutano and Ettinger.

AVOCADO GROWING REGIONS

In Peru, the Hass avocado is grown mainly in seven regions: La Libertad, Lambayeque, Áncash, Cusco, Ayacucho, Apurimac and Huancavelica. Harvest months are February to May and August to September.
